Blistering staccato palm-mutes and a wide variety of powerchord intervals comprise the bulk of your arsenal, giving you the weapons you need to do battle with any band. Since speedy riffing is the hallmark of thrash metal, no corners were cut in giving you eight round-robin variations for each of two velocity levels on the palm-mutes. Special attention was paid to the open D and E strings, with four velocity levels of palm-mutes each, so you can chug away with impunity. You also get a set of powerchord and single string tremolos in case you are feeling the call of the cold, cold forests and need to venture forth into black metal territory.

• Entirely remastered sound and new recordings!   I was unhappy with some aspects of the original release, and so I remastered everything that was there to begin with, re-recorded parts, and added a lot of entirely new content.
• Halion compaitbility! Thanks to Bo Clausen, who has provided Halion users with a near-full set of patches to use in their sampler.  Some instruments remain Kontakt exclusive due to the nature of their construction, but there is plenty for Halion users to enjoy.  You get both the Halion and Kontakt patches when purchasing Epic Laundry.  Works in Halion 3.5 and Kontakt 2.2.4/3.5
  
• Six new instruments! I ventured back into the laundry room and took recordings for five new percussive instruments, and added one more LaunDrone to cap things off.  The new material is as follows:

If you own Epic Laundry and want to upgrade to v1.5, I recommend doing a full new install alongside the original library.  The character of some of the sounds has been changed from the initial release, and you may want to keep the originals.  Additionally, the directory structure of the library has changed so as to accommodate having both the Halion and Kontakt patches.  If you have already purchased EL, I will contact you with instructions on how to download the new version.

• The Electric Detergitar – amped up with twice the cleaning power!  K3 exclusive.
• Drum Kits – remapped versions of the percussion programmed by Bo Clausen, these are a quick and easy-to-play set of patches.  In Bo’s words: “They are all mapped so G#2 is acting like a mirror/center – a very nice way to play drums with two hands.”  Playable in K2 or K3
  
• Two new LaunDrones: “Angry Bear” and “Cylon Detector” !  Both are K3 exclusive.
• all onboard reverbs have been switched to algorithmic to maximize compatibility with K3.

If you own Epic Laundry and want to upgrade to v1.25, download the ‘Patches Only’ .rar and overwrite your old files.  If you are using Kontakt 3.5, you should definitely grab this upgrade.

If you are using K2 and want to preserve patches that employ K2’s convolution reverb, just leave  those instruments alone and overwrite the rest.

All new purchases of Epic Laundry will start off with v1.25.
